Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Q.How much wood per mile?                                                                                                             A.Well I guess you are looking for the short answer.... So in simple terms you can expect about 2 pounds a mile from a light duty truck with an engine size of 2.0L, a full size truck with 4l engine is around 1 mile a pound. Of course that is the simple answer and is based on real world application. If you download the FOA 72 document you can find a formula then you can calculate the exact amount of gas produced in a lab setting.
It looks like the answer is turned around here.
2 lbs wood/mile for a 4l engine and 1lb wood /mile for a 2.0l engine?

Thanks RM for the link to your posts in another thread.I can't weld, never learned how.So something I can thread together would be of interest to me.I have lots of free wood on my property.I am interested in building one for a truck in the future as I see the price of gas at least doubling in the near future.thanks, triffid

Your welcome triffid,

I have not got around to updating the EGU designs yet, the Mk2 which is my favoured prototype size is not practical with a 1/2" fire tube as you would need wood chips similar in size to grains of rice to feed properly...

However, I have been playing with a variant of the Mk2 EGU and 2" PMEG. What this means is I have kept the 2" BSP fittings for the main body and will be using a 2" diameter piece of exhaust tube for the fire tube. The reason for this is that the inner bore of the 2" BSP pipe barrel nipple and the OD of the 2" exhaust tube are a lovely fit. You can now get MIJ exhausts to make a single step one piece reducing sleeve as the dimensions are close enough to each other, and order it on ebay.

It works pretty well but the project is on permanent hold as the funds to complete it are not going to happen without a miracle. If you need any advice on developing it let me know and I will see if I can help you  :)

Speaking of funds a long time ago I needed 200 mesh screen for an auto project I had.I priced it around $125 a sq in.So it looked like it was a no go.I found something at a garage sale that had this 200 mesh brass screen on it for about three dollars.I got my screen, brass was ok for my purpose.I placed my screen on my car and increased the gas mileage from 25 mpg to 30mpg.I do like garage sales. The 200 mesh screen chopped up the gasoline going into the engine a little bit better than without it.It was a 1979 plymouth horizen that I modified.

So take junk and make it work was the motto of a friend of mine.I would take a metal detector and sometimes find stuff buried in the ground.Copper fittings, rods, etc.triffid
