There's no end to the fear and greed in some people's hearts.  It'll stay there until they're guaranteed a large return on their money.  And there isn't any guarantee of that.

There might be gold on the Moon but maybe it's in the core under 1,100 miles of rock?  There's more in the Earth's core, but that's under 4,000 miles of rock.  White-hot uranium, thorium and lead as well.

On Topic:
Greece is cutting pensions by 20%.  American and French banks/firms are being credit-downgraded as I write this.  Most analysts say Greece will default, but what happens after that is a question mark(?) Pun?    I realize rioting is no joke, however.  I see no good end to this.

do you really expect to be taken seriously? this thread has been going on and on and on and on for over 2 years now... where is the economic disaster? i see constant "reports" and links to news articles about market fluctuations and predictions galore... but no economic disaster.

i guess some people are only happy when it rains... or they like to "cry wolf"...

We are living in the middle of the diasaster right now.Since I came to the St.Louis area last Feb there has been no improvement in this area of the country.Food prices have been going up.Gas prices are being yo-yo'd with.
Real estate market here has collasped big time.Everytime a job has come up there have a roomful of people trying to get it.Yesterday I was told by someone that he went to apply for a JOB with UPS at THREE AM in the morning and the room was filled with people.He said they talked with everyone in such a manner as to discourage them.I am retired so I worry about SS.But I did manage to buy a cheap house.So no more renting for me for now.But there are hungry people everywhere here.Drugs are everywhere.When the states start going broke and stop assisting people there will be millions more living in tents.Do you have your tent ready.Bill Clinton says that now is the time to become a self sustaining independent farmer.He should know he is a millionaire in his own right.triffid

I am so furious at the USA for not going back to the moon.Now Iran will beat us there.So will China and Japan.
There is cash enough to go.Its just the will is not there unless we are invading someone.So If Iran is planing to put WMD on the moon we might go back.I like Japan and China.Take me serious about that trillion dollar moon program.I think we need it sooner than you think.triffid
