In the fuel film vertical farming is discussed.You could take a new york skyscraper grow food in every window and feed 50,000 people from it.If NYC had twenty such farms it would feed one million.There are solutions!!!

The whole world debt/credit crisis won't go away as long as politicians there refuse to get their act together and cut spending.As Ron Paul might say Just hold spending at current levels for five years and the crisis will prenty much go away.In the the fuel film that I provided a link to it tells how to create millions of new high paying jobs  by creating energy independence for the USA.By creating alternative fuels such as biodiesel out of waste materials.Put people to work on making the USA energy independent.There are no wars for biodiesel,wind power or solar.Just for OIL.Our young people are dying for OIL.Iraq was being being divided up before 9/11.
Dick Cheny was involved in a series of meetings on iraqs oil fields.Mostly on how to take them OVER.In the film it talks about vertical farming.Turn a new york skyscraper into a farm where each window is used to grow something to eat.Such a building could feed 50,000 people.You could have twenty such farms in New York City alone.There are solutions!!!No current existing diesel engine has to be modified for biodiesel.
