I agree with you Mags,things do not look good.I heard yesterday that Tulsa,Oklahoma is starting to look like St.Louis,Mo with five begging people competing for begging space at each traffic intersection.With signs around their necks"will work for food"--we know that doesn't happen!Or "need help" Yes I agree with that one.I guess it is just going to get worse.triffid

Today I went out and found nearly all the places to shop were open.This is new years day.Back in 1975 only 7-11 was open on new years day.My friend and I were lucky to find 7-11 open that day.i was in Denver,Colo. that day.Everyone here needs the business.

Looks like the United States of America is down the toilet. Now it is law that anybody defined by the government as a threat can be arrested by the military and detained indefinitely.


“I have signed this bill despite having serious reservations with certain provisions that regulate the detention, interrogation, and prosecution of suspected terrorists,” Obama said. “I want to clarify that my Administration will not authorize the indefinite military detention without trial of American citizens. Indeed, I believe that doing so would break with our most important traditions and values as a Nation.”


Sure, maybe HIS Administration won't (maybe), but what about other scumbags "elected" in the future. The rise of tyranny is so blatant, yet most Citizens of the United States don't see it at all. Germany was the same after WWI. Many of the dangerous provisions were put in place by Administrations previous to Hitler's rise. He just used them to his advantage when his time was ripe.


From so many directions, it's like a roller-coaster out of control. Faster and faster until it can't stop. Oh wait, that's right, it's the Rich people's fault. Didn't Stalin play the same blame game?
