Sparks, there is a story at http://www.xat.org about Ben Franklin visiting England and he was asked why they ,the colonies, were doing so well?He replied that they were printing their own money.Soon after that the monarch declared the colonies could not print their own money and unemployment a year later became the norm.triffid

I recall theres a list of taxes somewhere claiming that there are 32 different types of taxes Americans have to pay.

During a visit to Britain in 1763, The Bank of England asked Benjamin Franklin how he would account for the new found prosperity in the colonies. Franklin replied.

"That is simple. In the colonies we issue our own money. It is called Colonial Script. We issue it in proper proportion to the demands of trade and industry to make the products pass easily from the producers to the consumers.

In this manner, creating for ourselves our own paper money, we control its purchasing power, and we have no interest to pay to no one."
Benjamin Franklin .

America had learned that the people's confidence in the currency was all they needed, and they could be free of borrowing debts. That would mean being free of the Bank of England.

In Response the world's most powerful independent bank used its influence on the British parliament to press for the passing of the Currency Act of 1764.

This act made it illegal for the colonies to print their own money, and forced them to pay all future taxes to Britain in silver or gold.

Here is what Franklin said after that.

"In one year, the conditions were so reversed that the era of prosperity ended, and a depression set in, to such an extent that the streets of the Colonies were filled with unemployed."
Benjamin Franklin

"The colonies would gladly have borne the little tax on tea and other matters had it not been that England took away from the colonies their money, which created unemployment and dissatisfaction. The inability of the colonists to get power to issue their own money permanently out of the hands of George III and the international bankers was the PRIME reason for the Revolutionary War."
Benjamin Franklin's autobiography

By the time the war began on 19th April 1775 much of the gold and silver had been taken by British taxation. They were left with no other choice but to print money to finance the war.

What is interesting here is that Colonial Script was actually working so well, it became a threat to the established economic system of the time.

Lyndon LaRouche today demanded that Congress remain in session to immediately convene impeachment proceedings in the House of Representatives against President Barack Obama for his criminal complicity in the Sept. 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, in which Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other U.S. officials were killed.[/size]

Obama fuckedup big time.  His defense for not going to congress for putting US citizens in harms way in Libya was that he didn't have to because he was following the lead of a foreign power.   The NATO treaty does not exempt the president of the United States from following commands issued by a foreign power structure.  What if the British decide to attack Moscow.  Is Obama going to exempt himself from constitutional duty and follow the British proclamation.  He appears to find nothing wrong with following her Majesties edicts.  Nato is now dickswinging their military power in some sort of attempt at dissuading Iran from attacking the Zionist puppet state called Israel.  These are terror tactics.  I thought there was a war on terror.   The second in command at Nato has obviously exempted himself from engaging in terrorism because it is OK with her majesty.

The excuse for the federal issue to begin with was that it was getting too confusing for people to exchange individual state currencies when doing interstate trading.  I believe most people could figure out how much state issue to give a grocery store checkout cashier.
