Big M,the guys at McDonald's were discussing the food banks and churches that give out free meals here in the st.Louis area.They said theres no need for someone to go hungry here.Of course all of that could change real quick!I went to a food bank yesterday.And got bread,fruit,vegetables.Some chicken wings.It was like a treasure hunt.triffid

I am trying to stock up on canned goods.I buy two or three extra.I used to buy mixed vegetables but they went up in price to 79 cents so now I buy sliced carrots instead at 59 cents a can.I use carrots in noodles and soups.A flat of eggs cost me $3.50 one week
then the next week it cost me $3.00. Eggs do not go into the icebox.They keep at cool temps for about a month or longer.Packs of hot dogs can keep for over a month out of the icebox.Unopened that is ,if they are cheese filled put them in the icebox or they will spoil.
If I think something is spoiled I either dont eat it or eat it and drink apple cider vineagar water at the same time.One teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to 8 ozs water is the formula.triffid

                        triffid i hope that when you say out of the ice box you mean out of the freezer.hot dogs will keep for months in the freezer, with a little effort you can break off what you need for a meal.
eating spoiled food is not a good idea.
