@big.. citizens also hording weapons of all kinds incase of a scenario.your gun is going to be your best friend(aswell as your 6th sense)in a economic wipeout i would surmise.elites will defend each other first then turn on each other later in such a scenario and when elites turn against each other then things get realy realy nasty.only a radical shift in political ideology can turn this road in my opinion..some type of internal based ideology that suits all,a spiritual type of ideology that ecompasses things that are common to all religions.it has to be an ideology of dictatorial order,the polar opposite to the chaotic violently materialist order we have now.this chaos is affecting evryone worldwide,this anti-spiritual materialist disorder.

Wars have broken out because people were scared of what was happening with their economics.World war 11 being such a war.I have been reading books.And they have different outlooks depending on the different authors.One book tells me how to be a millionaire provided I have 30 or more years to work and save before retirement.Im now retired but I can still put some money back.Another book tells me that Jobs will continue to leave the USA for China and cheaper labor elsewhere for the next 20 years(book was written in 2007).Same book says giant retailers are driving smaller businesses out of business.Walmart,Bass Pro and Cabela are mentioned.Same book says Gap between Rich and poor will continue to widen in the USA in the near future.One thing I know now the rest of the world will get richer as the USA gets poorer."Free Lunch"by David Cay Johnston published and CC. 2007.Tells how the rich get richer and USA taxpayers pay the bill.Very scary because main street is forced to pay the bill for rich corporations and the wealthiest americans.

very true @ triffid,however the thing that gives rise to anger stems more from  psychological sense of alienation than from the struggle to maintain on the economic par with the privaledged in my opinion thus the need for an ideological shift. Its one thing to compete for survival(this is normal),but another to be forcefully psychologicaly alienated(this is abnormal).the ideological worship of wealth and pleasure is truly preposterous in my opinion and feeds an increasing resentment from the majority of any population group in any country.this needs to be adressed immediately.
