Sorry I have not been here lately.Had some internet connection issues at home.Plus reading some great books!"Read and Grow Rich" by Burke Hedges C.C.2000 also author of "who stole the american dream" makes the issue that so many Americans fail to learn how to read beyond a fifth grade level.
He quotes such statistics as  75%of all unemployed adults have reading and writing difficulties
                                           43% of adults with low literacy skills live in poverty(as opposed to 5% of those with high literacy skills)
                                           22% of Americans---40 million people--- read and write at the fifth grade level or less
                                           70 % of prisoners score in the two lowest literacy levels.




He states that the right book at the right time can change your life!In general he talks about the awesome power of reading!
Some more statistics    At any given time ,one third of americans are living in poverty
                                     37%of americans never read another book after high school

Some info I learned from the Larry Rice channel here in st.louis,mo. on energy renewables.
  The USA makes 2/3 of the worlds solar panels and exports 70% of those panels overseas.
  By the year 2060 , 60% of the worlds energy will be from renewables.

I watched a video on college graduates in todays China.It seems that some two million of them each year never find a job in China.So its hard to find a job here and hard to find a job in China.It seems that the 43,000 companies in China are having a feeding frenzy as they chew up people there in China where $240US a month is considered good  pay for a college graduate.And colleges are ranked as 1st tier,2nd tier and 3rd tier.And rural colleges and people are looked down upon by those who come from the cities( much like the Americas of the 1850s).triffid

Years ago I read the right book and five years afterwards I had over one hundred grand in assets.You don't learn everything however in a book.Life teaches you some lessons too!One year after I bought my first house I could have paid it off by quitting a JOB.I was too scared to quit that JOB.And pay off the house and invest the rest.The value of my assets went down to 40 grand,back up to 60 grand then I managed to cash out at 50 grand when I finally left that JOB.My life has been interesting ever since.I read Al Williams book on how money works and was able to do the things he said to do.I however did it in an IRA that the IRS would not let me have the money unless I left the JOB.So I spent four years watching the amount bounce around a lot.

Today we are watching what happens in Crimea with the Russians invading that part of the Ukraine.

I personally believe that this is not a war.No shots fired yet,no deaths yet,In fact the previous Ukraine government killed more of its own citizens than the Russians have yet.I do believe the Russians are protecting their military investment in the Crimea in light of a new upcoming and uncertain Ukraine government.Remember they had treaties with the old government that collapsed recently.And they do have bases there.triffid
