Almost out of time on this computer, but there was an Internet article whose headline was, effect,  The Russians were expanding bombing raids in the Middle East.

They also appear to have a vested interest in seeing Assad not fall for some reason.

On another note I read an article recently, can't find it now, that said the earth has about 15 years of fresh water left before 40 % of its population starts to find fresh water hard to find. I can see all kinds of economic problems and more if that is the case. We might be able to do without fossil fuels for a while and eventually get other alternatives but it's a little more difficult to go without water. Desalinization will be big business. Our tap water isn't very drinkable already

I have been reading a couple of books lately on taxes imposed by different nations.It seems that since the 1970's a lot of countries have lowered their tax rates thus triggering a mass migration of American companies overseas.Now Donald Trumps proposed tax plan would serve to bring some of them back.
