Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Sparks:

You have an even bigger problem:  What about when all of the free energy devices come on-line and start producing energy for domestic use?  All of this free energy power becomes heat energy as it is used up, and it's extra heat that the planet was not expecting.

I think your topic header is a little deceiving.

simply running your automobile contributes to global warming, farting contributes to global warming, having intercourse contributes to global warming, cooking of any kind contributes to global warming, raising children contributes to global warming, raising cattle contributes to global warming, simply breathing contributes to global warming.

where are we going with this?

not to mention Volcanism of any kind.

anytime you even blink your contributing to global warming.

we might as well all cut our own throats and be done with it, wait, that in it self contributes to global warming sorry.

Without any disrespect regarding the "I think your topic header is a little deceiving" statement, I think Sparks title is not deceiving as Infrared collection for power purposes is a valid idea as it's just another form of ambient waves that can be collected to generate power, and if you read the pdf document I posted earlier it has been proven possible by the Idaho National Laboratory in 2008.

Infrared is everywhere as wasted heat, maybe it's not Sparks' vision of turning IF into visible light and reflection but it's still a viable idea.  It's wasted energy that can be captured, whether it's from the sun or man made, please read the pdf document.

Paul

no, this is what the header says;

Re: Solar Collectors biggest contributor to Global Warming There Is

I am not against solar infrared, if fact I indulge in it as the next level.

the header is not optimistic, it is pessimistic.

the way the header is expressed seems to say we need to stop solar collecting period because it contributes to global warming.

that's the way I am calling it.

Actually I take Sparks "Solar Collectors biggest contributor to Global Warming There Is" as an intelligent choice for IF collection as the deserts are probably one of the biggest collector and reflector of IF there is to tap into.  Having said that, I think that if we had the IF collector "Nantenna's" that are out there were available in a ready made infrared solar and ambient collector tech available at Walmart we would reduce our dependence on oil for electricity which would in itself reduce wasted heat.

Paul

Wow!, did you just glaze over what I just said, I said I support solar infrared technology.

the header of this topic says the opposite! lets hear it from the original poster, what did your header actually mean?

the header of the original topic says he doesn't support infrared solar collecting because in contribrutes to global warming which is supposed to be a bad thing.

Jerry :)
