Yeah, that really sucks.
Greed, power, socialism, etc. , the devil ruins everything. God made it all so these things are possible, but the devil has to mess it all up.
So what do we do? Why are we here at ou? Lets say Sterling A gets a real shot at open sourcing a device or setup and blasts it out there and many start to build it and use it. Will they track us all down? Surely they wouldnt find us all. Maybe they would put lockdowns on magnet suppliers, forbid copper wire sales, make claims that the waves from magnet motors are dangerous, and windmills are causing global warming let alone subsonic freq that are harmful. Its just so unbelievable.  Yep the devil is dealing the cards here.

Soon enough, someone will come up with some brilliant invention, simple and powerful.

..and then it will go nuclear, and yes, ..they will hunt everyone down.  Or perhaps all the device will get linked into some sort of time-tunnel-vortex nonsense.  And stop working.  Because only 6 of them could be running at one time.

There's always going to be some stooge-like limitations to a device.

It won't work in heavy rain ( satellite tv )
It won't work in bright light ( steorn demo 1 )
It won't work underground or in metal buildings ( cell phones )
It won't work on sundays ( Jews )..
etc.

Edit: ..I love Jews, BECAUSE they don't work on sundays.  ..thank you.
