New magnet motor idea, No physics violations!

Thinking outside the box... I had a dream that we could build a "stirling engine cycle" and instead of heat use the attractive and repelling forces of permanent magnets.

There would no problems with breaking the fileds in this closed loop setup.

Just a thought and wondered if anyone has tried this idea...

Sounds like an interesting idea. Can you elaborate and explain your idea a little more? A picture perhaps?

Picture the piston being a magnet. On the hot side of what a stirling have the end of the cylinder be an opposing magnet to the piston. This would be like the compression side.

I am not really sure what to do on the cold side with the timing and all. But you need a little kick though to get the wheel to finish the cycle... flywheel would have to be unbalanced.

This is probably impossible. I just thought it was a different direction to look at.

a couple week's ago, i've seen a video on youtube made by (as much as i remember) an russian guy. but i can't find it for the moment
