    I modified that post after a little condideration  The colors that I perceived are of no importance because they are only true to me from my perspective.

indeed, as are my perceptions. misunderstandings happen all too often with this type of communication and all too often i am a bit terse with people. i easily could have been more descriptive with my first post to make it clearer i agreed with your ideas on the psychopaths, i assumed you (and other readers) would know the song and understand the reference.

I sit here a shimmering mass of motion [perhaps perpetual?]
typing on a machine [also shimmering]
drinking a cup of coffee[shim..] so as to feed all that shimmers in me.
Who feeds the little guys ?[atoms in all of the above and "every where"]
When do "they" get  to come to  "rest"??

Seems to me "all" is perpetual ?
and coming to "rest" is not an option!!

do you eat food?!!! that's how 'you' get your energy.

Atoms do not move unless forced to move, you are looking at Atoms in the obsolete classical sense that violates the conservation of energy, you can't look at atoms, Neutrons, Protons and Electrons as little particles that perpetually revolve around each other because they don't, only theories that conserve the Atoms energy work in the real world, get out of your high school text book because it to is obsolete. classical mechanics is seriously flawed.

Planets revolve around their star because they have a lot of 'stored' energy in their orbit, when that stored energy runs out they will no longer revolve around their star. this is the same with galaxies which tend to have a serious amount of stored energy.

get off your classical mechanics because it is so childish to believe in it in the modern world simply because it violates the conservation of energy laws.

electrons don't revolve around an Atom, if they did they would violate the conservation of energy, instead they smear themselves around the Atom so they don't have to move! all particles must obey this law.

For the near future I think many scientific breakthroughs are going
to consist of producing solutions that don't require the availability
exotic or limited materials and removing restrictions from solutions
that do. Some of these will involve nanotech, some just haven't
been tried yet. Necessity is the mother of invention, after all

On the other hand, there are more reasons other than "peak oil" to
stop burning simple raw hydrocarbons, with exhaust to atmosphere,
like the conversion of motor vehicles from mechanical to electronic
solutions...Just wait for the "shrink" motors and batteries, ect.

If you say; "This will simply move carbon burning from engines
to power plants"
...then please read the rest of the web site...It won't.
