mk, please don't take this as a defense of ist, but his not finishing high school is quite irrelevant. michael faraday received little formal education and i'm sure you don't put him in the same 'group' as ist...

poynt and farrah didn't get kicked out because of him, they got kicked out for they way they chose to respond to him, and anyone else they considered 'beneath' them in knowledge. name calling gets us nowhere, and fast. don't let ist drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

I agree, this point is quite irrelevant.  Many people don't and still they go on to college and university.  That's what I did.    ...the only real thing it effect is your ability to receive additional financial aid and the number of 'remedial' classes that you take.

Potentiating it as some sort of social scar is prejudicial.

Just as well, I'm not sure why IST write in prose, convoluted or not, nor why he rarely posts schematics of what he's made.

Perhaps he has an aversion to the scrutiny of his work and rather considers himself an artist rather than an engineer?

I agree on the school part , but really have you ever spoke with the guy on the phone ?

I did many times , he tried to get me to work for him .
