Hmm,
imagine they make an error in the process and the bacterium eats  up oxygen
instead of CO2 and would spread like wildfire over the whole earth by replicating
itsself....
It would eat up all oxygen from the atmosphere  until all oxygen has run out.
We humans then would just die because of no more oxygen in the atmosphere...

A horribale scenario that would be !

And could this recent "oil disaster" be just another in the string of convenient conveniences ?

Can you believe the luck...and it just so happens that they have this new  'Frankensteinian' technology to eat up that nasty oil spill.

But what of those 2 good ol' boys using plain old straw will collect all the crude oil naturally...and what about that organic compound that transforms the oily straw into clean water and ready to use methane gas ?

They certainly  wouldn't create an environmental catastrophee just so that they could field test their waste eating 'synthoids'...and later turn them on us...wood they ??

   This is the result of what happens when Harti deletes a spam-bot
account. The messages also get dumped. This happened some time
back, users deleted their accounts and you could set there and see
the message counts dwindle.
   No loss tho.
