I am not sure what I am looking at in his video.   Does anyone know what the ATV3 box is?  Is power coming from it?

How can anyone say its 2500 watts out put. That should have blided the camera. The only way to settle it is to measure the amps and volts on the out put and if possible use a scope on the input.

How bright do bulbs look when you take them into the bright sunlight?  Not very even lit full power.

So considering this, do these bulbs look like they are about 1/10th of their full brightness?  Because with the losses in the system that is about what we would have to be seeing.

Try running a halogen bulb of a similar spec to 1/10th of it's full power in the sun outside, video it and we will see if it looks as bright as that, for my money it won't.
