If indeed the "rods" collect energy, it is because not of any layout but because the are simply natural occurring elements that each have their own ability to collect from the surroundings what they need.  So the rods collected lots more than needed.  Perhaps the plates of Aluminum, Bismuth, (coils on alum plates just used to inject unfiltered rods  energy) so it could be filtered into electricity.  By that theory you could make plates of each element to filter each wavelength of all energy collected and then have a storage medium made of this material  (for each element)....   to much, you could be a master alchemist 4 sure then if you didn't become a member of the Darwin Club.  ANY thoughts are welcome on this.   "ITS FULL OF STARS" 2010 seems to make since now
