i will have to 2nd the Observer in saying that this thread shouldn't even "BE"
much less should be be considering its intent "ruined" by the very person it was meant to attack.... this is a community.
we will not get anywhere by acting aggressively towards one another. better that we try to understand someones point of view, and if necessary give them the opportunity to educate themselves, and develop their point of view into their next level of understanding.

some peoples minds are very delicate and need to be gently guided, to steer them back on course.
the fact that you percieve someone as crazy, predictates that their mind does not operate the same as yours.
Thus by telling them that they are crazy and their ideas are "wrong", you are not likely to arrive at your desired outcome.

Not to mention, that his own mind is not likely operating the same as his. probably onset by inconsistent doses of ritilin and zoloft.
(or whatever medication his doctor prescribes that hes not taking as regularly as he should.)

im sure in some obsure way, everything hes saying makes sense to him. My only frustratoin with him is that he can't seem to express these ideas in a way that makes sense to US!
i only get what hes saying about 1/4th of the time.
and most of it seems to have come from an experience he had some short time ago, involving YouTube and Marco Rodin.

This is simple 10th grade Chemistry Class.
The hot flask heats the air inside it (notice he turns it upside down after he empties it to keep the hot air inside)

when he places the glass into the cool liquid, the cooling air in the 'neck' condenses and the suction draws the liquid upwards.
he then pours cold water over the hot bottom of the flask, accelerating the cooling process, and further condensing the air inside. This creates a low-pressure area (static head) in the flask.
the weight of the water and the suction of the low-pressure hold the water in there.

when he tilts it to the side, a vortex of air is sucked down from the surface, and up into the flask. Some of the fluid is released when he does this.

The college level description of this includes the volume, temperature, and pressure of the air inside the flask.
And describes the energy transformation from changes in Heat/Volume/Pressure, to the (mgh) equivalent of the mass of water rising a certain height. And subsequently, the mass of water that is displaced by the ammount of (room temperature) air allowed to enter into the vessell, and pressure changes as a result of doing so.

and yes, im well aware of your conceptual knowledge of non-specific matrices, and the fact that you can reduce this to esoteric number values to simplify the math.

But it would help you, from the standpoint of "understanding" the problem, to at least learn the conceptual basis of the science before declaring that it is "wrong".
