   Thanks for that last video, we were wondering what happened to that cell. Looks like it is still performing well, and worth developing further. Almost 1/2 an amp is impressive, as the most I've gotten out of any cell is 70mA, but that level did not last too long without dropping some.
Will that cell light an led, and can connecting more cells in parallel further increase the current? 
   I'm also wondering the same thing can be done with carbon rods instead of copper, as carbon does not rust at all.  Dipping the whole cell in resin may work good also.

Its been awhile since I posted here, mostly to due with John Hutchinson is a fake or holding something back with his crystal cells.

The biggest problem with crystal cells is that it takes time to test the cells. What you want is a cell that doesn't corrode the metals, and so far none of my cells have done this. But they can corrode if you don't protect them from the environment and this is why I paint them.

I'm also working on new mixes of crystal cells in hopes to get more power from smaller cells. These new mixes take time to test too.

Thank you tons for the update and it is indeed impressive with your results. I am about to start my own tests and would like information about your mix and process as well! IB why don't you start your own thread here then that we can collaborate again. I enjoyed working with you before and look forward to advance this process. Looks like I'm very late to the crystal battery party. I'm just now on a quest to research this thing having been lead down this path by Google and a number of suspicious sounding claims it pointed me to on YouTube. Heard a bunch of claims and not much by way of specifics, and all in the name of keeping stuff proprietary.

Here's the thing--if it's too proprietary, nobody can prove or disprove the claims and it all sounds like snake oil.

And there are those who try to make proprietary stuff that's been in the public domain for 50 years or more.  Found a wind turbine patent claimed on a venturi, and that's like trying to patent the lever or the inclined plane.  Please.  I know that the piezoelectric effect of quartz is new to some of the kids on the block, but us old time radio folk knew about that ever since quartz was used as a transducer in record players and also know that charcoal chunks do the same dern thing.

Using epsom salts and salt substitute is a novelty, as the timeline goes, so I think I'll play with that some.  I would just like to know what type of junk that magnesium can be salvaged from. This junkyard tech wants to know.

Not everyone is keeping secrets on the various different types of the crystal cell technology.  Hutch, Bearden and many others have made step by step tube videos on this stuff.  You could start there.

And here is a list of materials needed:

Salts:

1. Rochelle salt (Potassium sodium tartrate) 1 cup
2. Epsom salt (Magnesium sulfate) 2 cups

Doping agents (filed into fine dust, tiny amounts, maybe just a pinch):

1. Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3)
2. Silver Medallion (99.99% silver)
3. Iron pyrite (fool's gold)
4. Galena (lead glance -- mineral forms of lead sulphide, the magic radio receiver)

Electrodes:

1. galvanized wire/rod
2. copper tubing

note: like metals also work, but not as good.

Pretreatment of electrodes: Sodium silicate solution
