I wouldn't mind having a few of those to play with, unfortunately despite stating that they are happy to ship all over the world, they then list where they will ship to, and Europe is not included - that a pretty large chunk of the "all over the world" methinks! ;) Besides, there's absolutely know way of knowing what state those caps are in, they're probably knackered! There is also at least one other guy selling them on ebay, but for one hell of a lot more...
btw, would anyone know of a source of really cheap 1-100F caps that ship to europe? I see that some Chinese manufacturers are selling them really cheaply, unfortunately they all have a 1000+ minimum order requirement...

i usually get my stuff from here:
http://export.farnell.com/jsp/home/homepage.jsp?_DARGS=/jsp/home/exportHome.jsp_A&_DAV=en_EX_DIRECTEXP (http://export.farnell.com/jsp/home/homepage.jsp?_DARGS=/jsp/home/exportHome.jsp_A&_DAV=en_EX_DIRECTEXP)
Need large caps - buy from China, look around for the size, type that you need.
Use Choobuy.com if you don't speak chinese, they speak english but charge 10% commision. Their local shipping is free is you spend about Y200, thats about US$20 or They charge $25 US for 2kg or 4.4 lb shipping.
Also look on Alibaba, there's 100's of suppliers, some will sell you a box off capacitor for 5% of retail price in US.

Or you can make your own easily. See captret thread.

Yeah, I'm aware of Farnell but the key word was "cheap" - Farnell are a rip-off imo! For instance, I get most of my stuff from Conrad Electronics;
http://www.conrad.com/
- in a price-comparasion, I've bought 5F 2.5V caps from Conrad for 2 Euro each, whereas Farnell sell them for 10 sterling, over 5 times the price - crazy!
And you can get them way cheaper than Conrad, the best I could find on eBay is selling 5 * 50F caps for about $22 (call it $4 each, Conrad sells 60F for $12 (no 50's) and Farnell sell 50F for $70-80 - craazeeee...) The Chinese prices (in bulk) blow the rest away though - $7-8 for 100F caps! I just don't want (or need) 100 of them (smallest minimal requirement lot-size I've seen) never mind the 'standard 1000+ requirement...
But things are looking up, I was searching for the same about a year ago and I could find no Chinese company selling super-caps - there's quite a few now. All we need is for smaller business' to start offering them in the 10's rather than the 100 and 1000 sizes...

As it happens, I actually took the Alibaba plunge today, opened an account and ordered some stuff - here's hoping! I have been a bit apprehensive about ordering stuff from China but Alibaba's setup seems it is a safe-enough bet. Last time I checked I'm pretty sure they didn't accept Paypal either but they do now so they will provide some much needed competition for eBay as well.
Alibaba (or Aliexpress for little minnow's like me!) does seem to be flooded with counterfeit stuff, much more so than eBay. I was actually thinking of buying a Kingston 256GB for around $20 until I saw that the price of the genuine article is over $800 - crazy!!! Also, with all this junk on offer, I was hard-pressed to find any customer reviews on Aliexpress for these USB flash-drives - very suspicious...
