Title: Remote transfer...
Post by: iacob alex on November 19, 2010, 07:01:04 PM

.....is a common idea,to move "something" from one place to another (far away, distant). It can be a thing,an object or an action.

We know the connecting rod,as that part of  engine which transfers motion from piston to crankshaft, from on place to another.

Suppose,we intend to provoke, excite an avalanche type fall of the snow from the roof:we can climb on a staircase,or we can use a sufficient long stick...

...if the stick is long enough,we can cause a greater avalanche on the top of a hill...

If we take over,at the foot of the hill,a small part of energy, developed by this avalanche ,and make a simple "remote/stick transfer"of energy,on the top of the hill,we have a "closed loop with a feedback".

In the PM history ,this idea isn't a new one(Ferguson used a 90* transfer),but this time the proposal is to employ a "full" 180* transfer...

In this "old" application (1770),Ferguson used the fall of a mass,to pull at distance a weighted arm in the long position, face to the central axis.

This arrangement isn't "self-moving"...so the "remote transfer" is not a working idea in this case...a good idea can fail many times ,before to enter into reality.
