i have fully designed this in my mind and can explain it to a T ...
i do however laque some of the skills required to build this ..
tesla has pattened this but not ever in a single unit i have picked out the required peices to make such a unit from a number of my old pattends .. ;)
i will share the concept public ..
i can cross all the t's and dot all the i's
but build it ... this is another story ...
start with the tesla bifillar spiral pancake pattent
tesla states its magnetic feild is 250 000 times as great as any other design ..
#1 this is the PRIMARY be it about a air core or magnetic ..
#2 TESLA states the output wires must be 1/4 wave length of the disruption of the driveing circuit ..
#3 this is a ring stack that is tuned to resonance to acheive best results in econmy and efficiency
#4 this must be designed in stages ..
#5 primary pancake A is driven at resonance ... for reasons as above stated ... primary B is tuned to resonance of primary A but is of high high self induction thuss causeing a kick upon colpase and also working as a choke.. to reduce consumption of the device .. they are both tuned to A coil freq ..
so why piss with any other coil?

We piss with another coil because you always start something supposedly great and after a few posts the project is abandoned or changed to another thing leaving us with the wasted money on parts.

Pqancake coils are to use on any
waveforms (but not resonating ). possibly (`)
to longitual Waves.

thats ok pese
we do not want perfect resonance as it will melt down on you .. hence why sm says he off tunes the device ..
all that is needed is the device running 1/4 wavelength of the secondary .. this totally changes the design operation of the device ..
simply wind the secondary as a transformer .. pick the wire length you want and match the fireing freq to 1/4 lenght of the secondary simply SWEEP THROUGH FREQS WITH BULB INTACT .. when it lites bright your
done !
the other way was to pre tune primaries then make a secondary based upon the primary resonance freq..
this eleminates all that !
