this is only a thought.
A toroidal coil containing a winding that reverses the winding direction of the wire many times so that the inductance is almost zero.
It is not necessarily bifilar wound in a straight way.
This coil is pulsed . At the moment the transistor opens the flyback is collected via a diode to a large cap.
Parallel to the cap a lamp is connected, that lights up.
In the second scenario a 15k resistor is put in series with the lamp,
which is still shining. With the same intensity, I don't know, because someone else made this experiment.
If you want to check out whether cold electricity your dealing with put a high resistor in series with your load and compare this results with putting them on a plain dc supply.
