Thanks for the vid. I'll have to try it. I also found interesting your video on zinc strips and diodes as a means to access electricity. Any ideas as to why this works>?

I have not tested this but it looks like a good design to me.....
How bright is the LED ? is it much dimmer than without the charging circuit?

Something to think about .......JTs like high impedance......if you have a strong JT it might work better with s string of LEDs rather than just 1

I am glad you brought up the point in your video that pulse charging is not the same as charging with steady DC........ some skeptics here have claimed that because the voltage reads fully charged that if the battery does not yet have as much power as if it was charged by steady DC that it will not charge properly..... some called it a ghost charge...... It is not the same .......but is works.......you just have to know that your meter can't be trusted to tell you it is charged........
