Title: Muller/Romero motors work?
Post by: chowdan on August 27, 2011, 07:12:12 PM
Hey all,

Am new to this forum. Been seeing a lot of videos on the Romero and Muller motors on youtube. I have been quite curious about building one but finding a complete part breakdown is a bit hard to come by. I want to build one because but have not been able to find the part list so i have been holding off. The reason i want to build one is because i want to see for myself if it actually works.

Has someone here proven this can actually powers itself while it creates energy? It seems it still is up in the air? I mean even if you have a capacitor in the system loop and you required an external source of power to charge that then pulling the external power supply off and the unit spins indefinitely with a surplus of power being produced then i'd say it would be a proven matter. But i have yet to read about that. If it does work i was wanting to build one that could produce enough energy for a small 25-40w CFL light for my desk lamp(granted it might be a bit large but woul djust be cool to have around:).

I was also thinking about the idea of levitating the spinning disk using magnets. This in turn would cut down friction that ball bearings would have.  But i think that would require quite some development before its actually feasable as i would expect this would inter-fear with the elecromagnets.

Any info would be great!!!!

Highest efficiency achieved is @ 55%

Hey yea i saw he did a 53.3% efficiency. Anything over 50% is a surplus i assume. But hasn't he only ran his unit using an external power source?

It might take you a while, but here is some good reading back to Romero and up to date with others that have continued this project.
