Here is a video of a watch running on a straw battery. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MglaNxPnc3M (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MglaNxPnc3M)
Interesting stuff, thanks for sharing it.
Makes me wonder why such an arrangement couldn't be packaged up nice and marketed.
Is the battery life too short or something?
Actually they do sell a water clock, seen them about, I read on one design change the water every 2 weeks,,on another design I read change it every three months, as to my design I dont even know how long it will run but its still running lol. I am using the magnesium strip which is 99.99 percent pure as the negative electrode in my watch setup,,same strips I used to run a motor in another video on water and make free hydrogen and oxygen in yet another video,,there all listed on youtube under the same name as this link for the watch is.
