Hi guys,
I have started feeding my fascination with electricity and alternative ways to generating it. (so you can say I am a noob)
I came across a vid where it seems the "generator" runs on its own, is this real or fake?

Most people, including me, think this is fake. It would be so easy to hide batteries inside the coils. If it was genuine, the video would show the cores being removed from the coils, and it does not. When there is doubt, the simplest explanation is most often true. Most likely there are 2 batteries, one in each coil, because a LED needs more than 1.5 volts.
Hi guys,
This topic was already posted on The larskro's thread! do check it out....
To make this easy:
The inventor tell us that he has placed batteries inside the coils. He also use a reed switch to sync the power from the batteries so the magnets starts spinning.
It is not fake, but it is not over unity.
Vidar,
