So i have been thinking the last couple of days about Gravity wheels. And i thought of an extremely basic concept - so basic that I am fairly sure it has already been tried! However i have yet to see any thing like this, if it already exists then please tell me so i can stop making a fool of myself!

Well the idea is nothing more than a perfect circle to guide the weights around. there are two weights in this example which are linked in parrallel (the other weight is the opposite side). Except in this case the weight isnt exactly opposite as the pivot point is off centre, slightly to the right.

now if you take a look at the next picture, you will see i have made some calculations in relation to distance to the pivot point - the drawing isnt a concept of 10 rods, just 10 different positions (not that it would make much difference). As you can see the measurements (if you care to you can measure yourself) make a fairly big difference for each of the forces. Going on the measurements alone i will definately take a punt at this as long as it hasnt already been tried. If it has could someone please point me in the direction of where it is - thankyou

It's an old idea, sorry. Your spreadsheet drawing will rotate until the "6" rod is vertical and then all torques will balance. After a full rotation .... what has changed from the initial state? Nothing. Therefore it can't work.

If math proves something it must then work. The question is how much energy you need to waste to overcome friction. Perhaps you need to move the pivot a little bit to the right? Usually.. as heavier weights as better proportion torque/friction. Maybe use 4, 5, 6, 7 or 9 weights...
One man used a metal ring to guide the weights, and each weight was arranged as with bearings and magnet in it. He claimed that whole system has worked... but some other's attempts to replicate have failed.
