Title: Stefan Hartmann replika
Post by: Thing on August 01, 2012, 03:07:36 PM
Hello
I had feeling to make Stefan Hartmann´s magnet motor, but not yet well working.

@Thing:

That looks like you have a promising start! Keep it up and post your development here.

Good luck!

Hi Thing,
well done.

Please let us know the polarity of your magnets.

Maybe you can draw that into your pictures ?

Should the runner magnet ( the stack of the multiple square magnets)
be pushed through gap in the big stator magnets
or can your stator magnet rotate ?

Many thanks.

Regards, Stefan.

Hello

The ring magnets are attracting, i dont know where is N or S but its set to attraction, and little magnets is no wll matched like hartmanns something goes wrong have to be studied forward, unfortiunally rotor not rotating yet, because square  magnets not wll done jet, my hope was if i put square magnets together than middle it will be null zone but in reality that not happening, squares have to be like that   up NNnn-0-ssSS
                                                                                                                                                                            down SSss-0-nnNN
To be continued :)

Hi Thing,
yes, these were my old ideas.

Well, try to put in front or behind the big 2 round magnets some big iron plates,
so the fields in the airgap are really vertically linear.

It really depends on superimposing the fields as you have posted in the last 2 PDF files.

Maybe it is also only working as a linear motor, but as I did not have so many magnets I could not
test this...

It really depends on the equality of the stator field, which is not so easy to get...

Good luck !

Regards, Stefan.
