Have a look at the youtube video with the 2 cells.
Just a quick summary:
It is professionally controlled with different valves for pressure releases and other control
valves and also a water pump to always have enough water in the cells
so it can run for days without any maintainance.
Also the cells are made from round metal discs put in a cylinder pipe so they can
use higher pressure which ups the efficiency in gas production and the power supply
is made with a capacitive transformer which also has better efficiency and
thus can be powered directly from the mains voltage.
Also they will be designing another unit for solar panel power, so for around 60 Volts DC input.
The controller is microchip based, so it is all controlled by software.
Also as they use round discs they can use standard industrial gaskets !
