check out whats going on at 27thcenturytechnologies.com. They claim to have tested self-charging batteries on cel phones successfuly and are ready for mass production.they call it the 'maxergy'
@profitis:
Well, the one thing you can say is they have a "nice" website. . .
I checked the 2 "office" addresses that they list and they are both home-addresses rather than any office or manufacturing facility. This isn't all bad but it's a clue that they aren't QUITE that company that their website suggests.
Another clue that it is unfortunately bogus is the over-the-top claim to a "hoverboard". . . ( http://27thcenturytechnologies.com/index.php/products/hoverboard-gen-1.html (http://27thcenturytechnologies.com/index.php/products/hoverboard-gen-1.html) ).

i dont know @truesearch but if you google 'kastner maxergy',you will see linkedin conversations of one of their managers,larry kastner,which makes one wonder.he was throwing evryone a line for marketing,including chinese,indian,african bigwigs.doesnt sound like they are playing games.
these guys have a nanotech component that trickle-charges a lithium ion cell nonstop it seems according to claims.
@profitis:
Don't take me wrong ~ I certainly would like to see this be "real". I was only re-acting to what clues I noticed. And their "business-plan" wanting investors for $30million all seem to indicate that the "bad-clues" where more evident than any "good-clues".
But hopefully they will really come through. . . .
trueseach
sure@truesearch.judging just by the linkedin conversations alone it would sound like they have their peas in the pod,waving this thing in front of international corporates who were all jumping to mr kastner,s tune.
I hope their battery works better than their hoverboard presentation. Maybe someone's already messing with them but the download of the zip file for the hoverboard is apparently corrupt. Tried with a couple different browsers and different un-archivers. So they say they'll have cell phone batteries by the middle of 2013. That's only about a month away so we won't have long to wait. Wishing them luck and wishing for us that they are real. ;)
@e2matrix:
Yeah, I didn't have any success downloading the "hoverboard" zip file either ~ and now I now that it wasn't just me.
I do wish them success. I guess only "time will tell". . . .
