Amazing Coil.

It looks like the technology was stolen from this person http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoCBORXzOqU&NR=1&feature=endscreen (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoCBORXzOqU&NR=1&feature=endscreen) .
But there also was an inventive contribution. Originally there was one magnet from a hard disk drive, and it could only power a little weak motor.
Now, with two magnets placed ingeniously, 200 Volt and 60 Watt are possible.
Wow, all misery will come to an end, the good times are coming.
Greetings, Conrad
I think he used Tinned Copper Wire (looks like silver), rather than real silver.

Have you really learned nothing?
What are the tells?
#1: the coil does not move from its spot, even when bumped. It is secured to the table by the feed wires.
Yes TK, I agree with you about how the first clip was faked.
FatBird and Conradelectro:
How do think the second clip was faked?
In both clips there is a fundamental problem. We see a coil. We see some magnets. But what is missing here if you want to generate electricity? What is the fundamental problem?
Probably the most important question for both of you is this: Why were these clips faked? What is a possible motivation that these people could have for faking these clips?

Super fake! Haha! ;D He's afraid to touch the coil even the magnet is not placed, co'z he knew that there's a power feeding the coil! :P

Well, one way or the other, powered or self powered, I wouldnt want to touch it. 200v is 200v. So thats not an indication of a fake really. Not that Im saying its real. ;D
Plus, why put the power from under the table across the coil at all? If it were, the light bulb would not be the only thing glowing. :o ;)
So I would venture to say that if it is powered from below, the coil is probably insulated from the power supply at both ends. No sense in even connecting one end of the coil to one side of power if not connected to both ends of the coil. ;)

Not necessarily. If I were doing this I'd use a footswitch on the supply line under the table. When I watched I thought I saw one time where he showed the coil wasn't dangerous when the magnets were removed, so I thought of the footswitch or power strip switched off by a trusted confederate.
The hesitation and caution could all just be playacting, too. Remember my test of the first guy's thing in the Faraday cage? People believed the coil was hot, just because I pretended it burned my fingers.

Relative motion. There isn't any.

What makes you think that there are 200 volts involved? I see no meters, no indication that that is actually a 220 volt bulb. It could easily be a 12 volt automotive trouble light bulb.

That's right, the coil itself is not connected to the incoming power. It may be at the far end, but at the near end you can see something fishy right at where the coil begins. A blob or knot of something. It would be easy to make the incoming power connection here, only to the flex lead, and not to the coil itself.
When I did this for the first guy's video where the alligator clips are crimped to the coil ends, I just put some transparent heatshrink over where the crimp would be, so that the clips didn't actually make electrical connection with the coil's wire. The incoming contact points then contacted the alligator clips from underneath , and the coil couldn't short out the power because it was insulated from the clips. A similar arrangement is probably used here.

I think in this case it is like the show of an illusionist, like making a lady float in the air or sawing a person in two on stage. Nowadays the stage is YouTube.
And of course, it is a pretty lame show, like making a coin disappear with the wave of a hand.

Fake:
Why do people keep looking at this crap thinking its real. This guys tricks were already outlined half a year ago now.
When are you IGNORANT "Nay-Sayers" and Trolls going to WISE UP?
If you watch this video, it PROVES that EVERY magnet has a ROTATING MAGNETIC FIELD BUILT IN. It rotates FOREVER at Light Speed.
The Plasma Mug ILLUSTRATES how the North pole has a Clockwise ROTATING Magnetic Field, and the S Pole Counter-Clockwise, INHERENT WITHIN ITSELF.
Therefore, the magnets he places on the ends of the Coil PROVIDES ITS OWN ROTATING FIELD Forever. NO MECHANICAL ROTATION NECESSARY.
PLEASE WISE UP FOLKS.

.
FatBird:
You are the one that has to wise up. You are simply believing disinformation and then repeating the same disinformation to others. That is not a good place to be.
There is no "rotating field built in a magnet." That's just a fantasy. I am sure that you have learned that a coil only responds to changing magnetic fields. And we are not referring to the fantasy rotating magnet fields here. We are talking about changing magnetic fields like in a generator. In the clips, you see hard drive magnets placed in coils were nothing is moving. Therefore there are no changing magnetic fields and there is no voltage across the terminals of the coil. Both clip are lies designed to persuade gullible people with a silly fantasy. People on this forum should not be fooled by this nonsense.
The video you link to does not prove that there is a rotating magnetic field built into a magnet. The plasma represents the flow of electric current. The electric current is affected by the magnetic field of the external magnet and is deflected. If you analyze the geometry between the magnet and the moving plasma that is inside the hollow cup you can see how it produces a rotating motor effect. It's all due to the Lorentz forces acting on the moving plasma ions due to the external magnetic field. In other words, it's just a parlor trick that looks cool, nothing more.
I will repeat to you, there is no "forever rotating field" associated with a magnet. It's all just silly disinformation put out by people that are either con artists or they don't know any better. A simple low-level con is to make a stupid YouTube clip full of lies to get views and get people to click-through the ads. The clip might earn the person that made the clip $1000. This person doesn't care if he or she is lying and spreading disinformation and confusing people. That means nothing to them they just want the money.

At around 0.17 in the video, notice that when he places the second magnet, the upper coil extension slightly moves off the white surface, but the wire to the light bulb is remaining motionless at the supposed solder joint. There is no solder joint there. The wire most likely goes through the surface to a separate power supply bellow. The other coil extension did not move, but looking at that wire, and the apparent solder joint, the wire looks as it is rather pointing towards the surface instead of being more in line with the coil extension. Agreed with TK, a possible motivation...clicks and pennies doesn't hurt... Thanks for posting the video.Mike
Fatbird, If you look through my posts you'll see I'm usually the one fighting against MH or TK and almost never saying never or being a naysayer. But this is just fake through and through. It cannot work. Wire through the table or some such setup is how he's doing it. I built one just like the original one like this that has so many youtube views. I built it not because I thought it could work but because I happened to have all the parts right on hand and it was to prove it could not work and it was an exact replication right down to the shape of the hard drive magnets (I've got hundreds of them) and the alligator clips and wire gauge. Took me all of about 5 minutes to put it together and not a hint of power of any kind not even a blip on the o-scope. It's FAKE. You've got to know I'm one of the last one's here to be calling fake but it really is just about as bogus as they can get.
Hi everyone ;)
now a days is very advance specially in film making like superman or some Chinese movie,
There are lots of flying scenes were in you will be amazed. but if you are watching film making, wow there are lots of harness, and they just edit it in the computer.
and superman perfectly flying in the air ;D
If anybody gets this working, PLEASE post some details so we can DISCREDIT the "naysayers" and Trolls.
PS: For the last 6 years I see the SAME ole NEGATIVE guys posting NO, FAKE, NO, FAKE, NO, FAKE, NO, FAKE, NO, FAKE,
doing their best to discredit honest inventions.

Hi FatBird,
May I ask that during the 6 years of your observation how many of the inventions that were claimed to give extra output have proved to be indeed a honest invention? Where are these machines, devices, setups? Why are none of them in use by the public? Please do not say that they were banned from the public.

The NAYSAYERS & TROLLS come along YELLING NO, FAKE, NO, FAKE, NO, FAKE, NO, FAKE. NO, FAKE, NO FAKE, WASTING Bandwidth, etc, etc.
Now the Newbie senses the Trolls & Naysayers are "ALL WISE" and "ALL KNOWING" with their HIGH post numbers and unfortunately GIVES UP.
I'm extremely amazed you can't see that.

And for the last twelve or thirteen years I see the
SAME old TRUE BELIEVERS people barking up trees that are absolutely barren of fruit or squirrels. They are
WASTING THEIR TIME and the time of others chasing utterly impossible scenarios like what is shown in the video. And people like you, who don't build and test for themselves, do their homework or study hard, are helping them do it.
Go build a Besseler wheel or something and quit posting nonsense.

Well I am extremely amazed by your wisdom.
At least John Hutchinson has something valuable:

He is experimenting with barium titanate cylinders.
The HV builds up again , after the wires beeing shortened.
No batteries / hidden wires ect.
It's obvious some of you Trolls need a certificate.
Especially you guys that BAD MOUTH Rosemary Ainslie. How can you not be ashamed of yourself?

FatBird:
You can rant all you want but the "Amazing Coil" clip that you linked to is a complete and total lie. It's an insult to all people that honestly try to do serious research into alternative energy.
That makes you the bad guy.
How can you not be ashamed of yourself?
MileHigh
It is an obvious fake, just like those others. I agree with MH. It IS an insult to everyone that takes this research seriously learning through real experiments. Why do these people post these fakes? Also, why do some folks believe them? Nothing is gained by doing this. Someone should start a topic with all of the proven fake videos...from Mylow, xpensive, etc. We sure have seen a lot of these over the years.
Very sad indeed.

Dear FatBird, Trolls say that Santa doesn't exist. However, I believe there is enough evidence on Santa's existence since so many people in your age are convinced in its existence (since your profile doesn't contain your age, based on other data about you I'm convinced you are in this age interval that already knows the Santa story).
Here is one evidence:
