I have a Solar source wind and steam powered generation system that would generate 5 megawatts to 500 megawatts depending on the size. I don't have the resources to develop it but the united states could be totally powered from an array of these including all road vehicles and planes and even space vehicles.
so here is the basic idea is that hot air rises and cold air sinks so this system creates high power steam but is also a closed air system where the hot air is directed upwards and then rapidly cooled creating extremely high volumes of air movement or wind which is directed downwards through a large maglev Turbine. Since it is a closed system it is totally efficient with no wind motion lost as in an open system. For anyone that may be skeptical there are already devices such as Solar Towers and air cooling tower generation systems. they are less efficient because once the air passes through the turbines it can no longer be used for power generation. This system will continue to generate electricity through the night because of the cooling tower aspect and super steam.
The parobolic troughs go up from the center of a manmade crater to the top into 2 large pipes along the
Top of the crater. The 2 Pipes are channeled to a large chamber buried in the side of the crater. One pipe on one side and the other pipe on the other side coming in at opposite directions
To create a spinning motion. The air is misted and cooled as it enters the chamber which causes the air to sink.The cool air coming into the chamber operates a large maglev turbine. The air leaving the turbine is then directed back to the center of the parobolic trough where it is again heated and expandedin the solar troughs. I am not a wiz at math so if some one could run some numbers on this it would be helpful.
