This goes way beyond artificial hippies.  This is about how the natural world ('the old') is transitioning into an artificial synthetic world ('new again').  If we were in our former state, we would then realize how our current state is actually an artificial synthetic world of it's former and more natural state.  As we progress through each cycle, we become less aware of our former external worlds.  Science and mankind has it inverted.  Evolution is actually de-evolution, and the microscopic and more physical worlds were built by the macroscopic and more spiritual worlds instead of the macroscopic physical world being built by the microscopic physical world.  You can't get 'everything/more' (the universe) from 'nothing/less' (the big bang).  However, you can get 'nothing/less' (the physical worlds) from 'everything/more' (the spiritual worlds).

That picture is kind of comical, in a supposedly intelligent world where most believe all is know and understood apparently the best we can do is a piece of crap franken-robot reminiscent of a mangled ford festiva. Personally I always thought it odd that most people cannot even appreciate what they are, who they are and what they represent.
We, our consciousness controls our body through minute electrical impulses from our brain and our brain electrical impulses firing between neurons. Thus we our consciousness is electric in nature and every single part of us particles moving near the speed of light all bound by electric fields in turn bound to the universe. Every part of us and everything we know born from stars and super-nova... star stuff.
It is simply amazing that beings such as us could be given such oppotunities and do so little with it.
