This may be the most economical way and easiest to make hydrogen. Carbon is easy to come by.
Might suit the more advanced experimenters with lasers.

rate will be critical factor,and power-consumption in the laser.this is imitation of certain giant industrial processes to produce hydrogen from coal or carbon monoxide and steam.
