Did someone analyze this, before? It seems interesting.
This appears to be a very ingenious device.
I think I understood the principle of the operation.
On each end of the rotating arm there are two rotating disks with weight.
He is turning these disks in such a way that the weights always create a rotating momentum.
The extra energy comes from the centrifugal force, transmitted from the weights towards the rotating frame.
Maybe it's related the the attached pdf?
reminds me on this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eT7oR_-l0qU&feature=player_embedded (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eT7oR_-l0qU&feature=player_embedded)

I'm still puzzled on how the centrifugal force is being converted into the rotation of
the disk with weights and than further into the input shaft.
Plus there is some clever arrangement there to adjust the leverage of the weights
according to the load.
Meanwhile reading about Bob Kostoff device...
iv been working on a similar thing but using the peddles and frame of an old bike. its not going too well my side, i will do some more research and if it looks viable i will give his a go, just want to try a few more weeks on my little baby (waiting for new bearings from japan before i can continue)
