Title: Messages sent to our addresses
Post by: irisher on April 02, 2005, 12:52:06 AM
Stefan,
? ? ? ? ? ? Hi,this is Stephen J.,I was wondering if your new site will still send posted messages to our e-mail addresses as your Yahoo site did. Or, do we have to come to this new site to see them?
Just curious.

  Stephen,

these BB boards (phpBB, ultimateBB, etc) work in a slightly different manner than the Yahoo Groups. You have to click on the "notify" button displayed on top of every subgroup topic if you want to receive notification of new messages via email. Additionally, if you click on the profile button, on the left you will see "modify profile" under which you can click on the notification link where you can configure the auto notification of any reply to your posts.

  Regards

The forum sends only this as emails:
**begin**
"A new topic, 'Hummingbird/Sundance Generator', has been made on a board you are watching.

You can see it at
http://overunity.com/index.php?topic=52.new#new

More topics may be posted, but you won't receive more email notifications until you return to the board and read some of them.

Unsubscribe to new topics from this board by clicking here: http://overunity.com/index.php?action=notifyboard;board=1.0

Regards,
The www.overunity.com The international free energy research forum Team."
**end**

Is this only for people online? - Could the mails be all forwarded to yahoogroup - free-energy so the people like me can get
the whole texts to email boxes and read them offline (at home etc.)

In such form the software s*cks!

Peter? ???

Peter, please try to get yourself a DSL Flatrate and read it all
online.
It has the advantage, that it does not clutter your mailbox anymore.
