It looks like he dis-assembled a small Transformer to get that metal core. That Magnet looks like it came from an old Hard Drive.
Could this be a Small Example of a Beardon's MEG (Motionless Energy Generator)?

That YouTube guy Deirones is quite a character. Just about everything he does is tongue-in-cheek. I think that he invented the accent also.
Look at the first clip he posted, it's hilarious:

With Dierones, you can laugh along with him and his crazy projects and enjoy his spoofing as a form of performance art, or alternatively, you can find the humour in what he does elsewhere.

I agree with you.. this guy isn't just making fake videos... he's trying to do it as silly as possible whilst still making believers out of some people (*cough cough FatBird*)
We have not seen his magic shoes yet but I'm sure he is a member of that clan. Just look at how in his first video, those batteries just suddenly appear to form a circle. ;D
Hoppy, you keep saying fake, fake, fake, fake, but you don't give us specifics.
If you want us to believe you, you need to give us SPECIFIC ITEMS ON THE DEVICE, that you see as fake.
Otherwise, most folks will just believe you are a TYPICAL TROLL & INCAPABLE of scientific specifics.

Hi FatBird,
Other folks don't need to believe me and I do not wish to waste my time explaining something that's so obviously a wind-up. Its not the specific items that are fake, its simply the resulting action of the fan blades in combination with the other items. I'll turn it back to you; If you wish others to believe its a genuine self-runner, then you need to give scientific specifics of how you see it working so that others can replicate the device.
chances are fake because a filament bulb takes a heck of a lot of power to glow,a hundred times more than a l.e.d.
