Title: Have anyone bought bitcoins?
Post by: bugler on December 03, 2013, 11:18:43 AM
I wonder how many of you have heard of bitcoins.

I have bought 3.1 bitcoins. Let's see what happens.

This is a video of Max Kaiser about bitcoin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_t39jCXXIrY (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_t39jCXXIrY)

Will bitcoin really be a financial revolution or will it collapse or somehow be destroyed? Time will tell.
If you don't know about the monetary system scam please watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HfpO-WBz_mw (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HfpO-WBz_mw)

Cheers.

At some point I had 40 bitcoins, bought at 2$/bitcoin, which now is worth 40,000$. Sadly I utilized them quite shortly after getting them.

An interesting article about the legal aspects concerning BitCoins http://www.coindesk.com/information/is-bitcoin-legal/

My unimportant opinion:

As long as BitCoins are irrelevant in terms of possible tax revenues and in terms of the amount of business done with them, nobody cares.

In case BitCoins become important, the empire will strike back with the possible outcome:

- a big player (some big bank or credit card company) will take them over and establishes the legal and tax framework (most likely)

- BitCoins are killed (if you like conspiracies)

Greetings, Conrad

But how a big player could take them over to stablish a legal framework?
bitcoin could be killed by hacking it somehow.

Another possibility is that they can't control or kill bitcoin and we have a financial revolution of some sort.
In the meantime I have decide it to drop the study of free energy/engineering and study investment as I already have some working knowledge and I know it works (for instance I detected the bitcoin buying signal when it was at 110€)

I've heard 10 years ago about bitcoins but i thought it's someting like paypal for online payments. Few months ago read they use them to buy drugs and weapons and i wonder how the owner cannot be traced?

By "a bank taking over BitCoins" I meant a business transaction (buying it) or some other semi legal way of acquiring it. I did not mean "hacking" or "a technical overpowering". And once BitCoins has been taken over by a major financial institution it will be something like PayPal.

Many people study investment, that is the easy part. Having the money to participate in a meaningful way is the trick. Do you have assets around 1 Million or more? The big winners in the "financial game" are again the big banks and other financial services, hardly individuals. You must have access to the trading floor and to "high speed trading" which is not possible for an individual. You can go to some broker, but he will rather take care of himself than of you.

About drugs and weapons: 99.99999999% of all drugs and weapons are paid for in Dollars or other well established currencies, does this make the Dollar and other currencies illegal?
