hI ALL,
I wounder if anybody had heart the story where a guy has wired a pre 1920 tesla wattmeter and could power his house with this even after the grid power was turned off.

They talk about it here (but the thing is not really Tesla based)

Thanks
thats exactly what I heart from an old fellow, the question is where can I get the documentation what they are showing. This whole thing if it can be rebuild it would be the perfect solutionfor all the home power what is needed.
If I look it this the components are verry simple 1 weak permanent magnet, two electro magnets, 1 alu disc with bearing. but the old fellow sayd that this only works with wattmeter which was build before the 1920 later on they have build a fail stop device in it. After his explanation the power depends on the size of the watt meter. I dont know if there was different size for higher loads.
Maybe somone has more info or even some picture or other material what he could post here or send me via e-mail at a542002@hotmail.com
Thanks
greetings walt

Hi,

Don't know if this helps, but Tesla patents #'s 455,068 and 514,973 are about electric meter.  Could be the heart of what you are looking for?

The story you refer to is related in the book "Pentagon Aliens" by William Lyne.
