There is no chance for the over-industrialized/consuming countries of the G-7
to change actually the fossil fuel quantity to Bio-alcohols like Ethanol !

From 100% fossil fuels use,26% are used for transportation !

The first step shall be to reduce the lost sources,
as effect that the transportation sector fuel consume can be reduced to 10%
(from 26%) !
This 10% will be  explored by Synfuels(coal/gas-liquidification) and all kinds of Biofuels.
Also with Hydrogen/HHO-supply.
