Well, yes, you can already get a Magdrive Supergen at around 300 US$
that can produce almost the same amout of Gas.

looks not bad but thewre is nowhere a gas output amount to find and for the size of the whole thing is not much. I believe after my experience the plates are to small for the size of the container. Also the acrylic container is not the best solution for the mobile use and the bubbler integrated in the cell container is even dangerous just my opinion. For the use in a car it should be a rugged construction similar to tero rantas version which is verry nice I have build one a little bit smaller with 8 plates and it works perfect on 18V ( MIG welding transformer) it pulls about 10 A and puts out around 1 liter/min. I will make a couple pics and a vid if I find the time over the weekend.
the only probleme is that the amount of electrolyte is to less for a longtime operation.
This is what I whould recommend for a car booster it is relative easy to build, rugged and with a few small changes it should work for a few hours before refilling just water or put a refill unit on it.

it is not actually my design it is tero rantas design I just did not have enough SS solid plates for the size what he has used I build them a little bit smaller 3x5 inches.
I will post next a little vid from this unit and the parts from the next one in detail, look there.
