Has anyone ever used a motor to push a lever over a 3' range, lever is 50 " long, If I can move the lever, I can turn a crankshaft, the crankshaft will turn a generator, and after initial starting the generator can be used to power the motor, A ma of 24 to 1 should produce around 40-50 lb ft of torque from a 1.5 hp motor at 1725 rpm

Nope. A static force such as gravity, cannot produce enery. Only if the mass of the Earth change considerably, and often enough, the gravity will change accordingly. Only then you can harvest energy from gravity. I don't think the Earth mass will change in that manner any time soon.
