There is, of course, minute amounts of gold in seawater but, even at today's gold prices, it is no where near cost-effective to extract.  This is not to say that one day it will not be done but, as far as I know, it is no where close at the moment.

If only we had a cheaper form of mercury that can do what mercury can do
