Title: How does this powerstrip electric loop work?
Post by: mtgrares on April 18, 2015, 04:31:14 PM
The generator is only a power strip plugged into itself. You use the piezoelectric from a cigarette lighter to start it and then you can plug in a fan or light bulb into the power strip. I want to build this but I want more information before I try.

How does this generator work? Does the power cord need to be looped?

It does not work.  It is a hoax.  This has been discussed in other topic areas.

Save your time.

Who's gonna help me build my C4 core flyback transformer?  The plan is to use detcord for the first couple layers, 40awg 1000turns on that with the ends connected to the detcord, and a 12awg primary on that which gets hooked up directly to a 15kv power supply.  I'm hoping to get everyone together in one room for the initial testing.  who's with me?

LOL. Sounds explosively liberating, but I'll take a rain check on attendance if that's alright with you.  :P
