It's a great idea. Let's hope the process can be scaled up and the costs scaled down. Looks like abundant low-cost electricity is a key part of the formula; so with plenty of electricity we can keep our petrol-fueled engines running for a while longer. I like the "carbon-neutral" aspect of the process: burning the stuff releases the same carbon that was used to make it in the first place as carbon dioxide again, rather than adding new carbon to the atmosphere from that locked up in coal or petrochemicals.
