Title: To Stephan :Long waiting-time when posting or login
Post by: Kator01 on October 08, 2006, 06:13:51 PM
Hello Stephan :

... banners.webmasterplan.com .......... it is really a drag. Upon replying some privat mails via this forum this "banner...connecting-thing" causes permanent waiting-time up to a minute ore more

Although I understand that you are doing this banner-links for fundraising or even for your living i would greatly appeciate to do something about this to disappear.

I have to check with ebay,
if they have a banner problem.
Try to  reload the page or disable Javascript,
then it goes away.

I will see, that they will fix it.
I did not change anything since 2 month or so...

Thanks.

Regards, Stefan.

Hi Stephan,

problem occurs mainly if I answer a personal message from this forum via my personal mail-account at web.de.

The message in the status-window reads : Warten auf banners.webmasterplan.com

I have the bitdefender-software ( online-watch, viruschecker etc) Here javascript-control is activated meaning, if a website has javascript this software gives me a message of an activX-Element where I can choose to allow this or not. If I do not allow this and later hit the same page, the bitdefender show a status-message : Angehalten. But this does not happen.

Just for you to have better Info.

Hi Stephan,,

the waiting time becomes more worse : ?bertrage Datren von kona.kontera.con , dann von ebay. webmasterplan.com etc.

It is getting so slow by now at every change of page that I wonder why the forum members tolerate this.

I wont.

If you still have problems,
switch off Javascript in your browser.
It seems Firefox can handle this problem better.

I have emailed to support of the banner program and
am waiting for an answer.
Thanks.
