Except that:
1) It only extends battery life for certain poorly designed devices where
2) The device current is within the capacity of the power converter AND
3) The extended operating percentage of the battery exceeds the losses imposed by the power converter
There will be cases where the device:
Does not work because of the power converter limitations.
Actually decreases operating hours from a given battery.
