Title: Need Hall sensor powering a 12 volt solenoid circuit

I am searching now for a very simple circuit whereas a bi polar south pole sensor powers a
""12 volt"" solenoid or electromagnet on and off.  I have seen a lot of 5 volt diagrams but not 12 volt.

Any help and all sketches or diagrams appreciated. Must have component information as I intend to build it.
Not interested in a latching type circuit.

Not the best way perhaps, but the simplest way is to adapt a five volt circuit is to drive a relay and connect the 12 volts supply and solenoid to that.

If this for a pulse motor type application, then you will have to use a transistor

[/quote   Thanks again for answering my questions. I only have one more.  I bought a SS441R Honeywell bi polar sensor.  Looking at its face I see three terminals. Which lead connects  to the ""POSITIVE"" terminal  of the power source??  The  OUTPUT LEAD OR THE LEAD MARKED VS OR VOC??

The ground lead is the negative I understand.
