I'm amazed at how someone on Facebook can just blatantly plagiarize someone else's video and post it as if it was their own work, without even giving any reference or credit to the originator.

The setup does work Don't knock it.I have made one. HERE IS THE PUNCH LINE. Your fingers HAVE to be on the magnet all the time and by doing that there is some little movement needed to keep the ball spinning on the one side of the wheel I am sure that some smart person will figure out a spring assisted setup for the magnet where the magnet does not need a human hand in the picture. That person could become very rich.
Notice the split track the ball is in. The axle connects the two halfs of the split track together as one unit. Now figure a spring attached to the balls center point through that split track. The weight of the ball still is downwards. The other end of the spring would be attached to a fixed point in a straight line with the heavy ball but not attached to the setup wheel Food for thought. Might not even need the magnet then??

I agree someone can input an external force to move a metal ball with a magnet, but if that external force is removed, neither the magnet or the metal ball will move. Your idea of adding a "spring" that can automatically move the magnet to move the ball will quickly reach an equilibrium and your metal ball will stop moving.
If you honestly still believe it will work as a perpetual motion machine, since you have already built one why don't you add your spring and become as you say "very rich"

With most all of my experiments if they don't work they wind up taken apart and put into my 200 pound
Can where I trash failed experiments. The above was one of them I had put a lot of time looking into.
You are correct by saying as soon as the spring reaches its limits the weight of the ball will be on it and not the wheels inside. Thus the wheel will not spin. Not worth looking at again unless someone has a better idea.
